Hi I am planning to migrtate to Adelaide with my family is it a nice place job, eductation, housing, racism?

Jobs are easy to get

There are LOTS of nice homes around

Eductation is VERY high.

We arnt racism.

its like a country town on steriods! lol (as in just a big country town.)

Adelaide is perfectly nice but a bit bland compared to Australia's other capital cities. It's less expensive, plenty of jobs like anywhere else. It's less multicultural and more 'white' than the other cities, but I wouldn't say it is more racist. It's a nice place to bring up a young family. Schooling is pretty good, my impression is that primary schooling is of a very high standard, but perhaps high schooling lags some of the other states a little.

No come to Melbourne...I just spent 2 weeks in Adelaide for a family funeral-first time ever been there,the place is dead and boring,the shops close at 5:30 nothing to do very very boring...The best thing about Adelaide is

1.Leaving

                                                                        

2.The speed limit is 60ks per hour-in Vic it is 70-80ks per hour.....

Melbourne has 24hr shopping

A huge city center filled with pubs and clubs

Very friendly

non Racist

multiculteral(one of the most multiculturled city in Aus).....

In other words--Melbourne is the best!!!!

Boring place and very odd. Go to Melbourne instead where there is a very good multiculture, a great social life and much more work opportunity. Adelaide has messed up teenagers everywhere into dark cult music and stuff. Weird joint with a grim past.
