Hi I am working as Sales Manager in an Insurance company in India?

Question

Besides the formal training I want to train my agents, since I’m totally new to this profession I don’t have much knowledge more over I’m yet to undergo the training provided by the company. My 1st query is (1.) Can I get a book on agents training, i.e Name of the book and from where I can get it. (2) Can I get sample/ guess paper or old solved question answer. (3) can I get some book on pitching policies

Theoritically, many books are available in the market. Insurance Institute of India has a library, which can provide you recognized books as well.

The short answer to your question is.......I don't know.  However, sales is sales.  it doesn't take a lot to substitute a few words when training staff.  If you have previous sales managerial experience, and you know diddly squat about insurance, the basics are the same.  Be professional......A professional is one who has practised and studied so much that he can be relied upon to do the right thing, and say the right thing, automatically, confidently and spontaneously, without conscious forethought or effort.

Dont worry.  The training programme for you by the Company is only for solving your problem.  i.e: to train your agents. PL attend your training class with open mind  which will teach you nicely. Wish u all the best.
