Hi I got caught riding my mini bike in Ohio and my license is suspended I got cited will I go to jail?

This is my first traffic offense and I didn't know they were against the law but I was citated for it and I got court this wednesday

The fact that someone's license is suspended does not always warrant an arrest.  If the person has no prior driving convictions, then it is not likely they will be arrested for DWS (Driving While Suspended).  However, if a person is DWS with a prior conviction, they can face arrest.  It would be my guess that you will have to pay a fine and get your license reinstated.  Good luck!

What exactly did you get cited for?

Did you just get cited for the unlicensed motor vehicle on a roadway or did they add driving under suspension?
