  1. Yeah, take one back and maybe give them comparison photos of male and female genitals to keep on hand. A good way to prevent this in the future is to check the gender before you leave the pet store. Pet stores are notorious for mixing up genders, so this is something you definitely need to do this every time you make a purchase. Depending on how upset you are about this you may even want to complain to the manager.

  2. you can take one back and tell them to give you the proper gender you asked for.

Sorry to hear she is preggers. It could very well be that she was preggers when you bought her. since you are a first timer i would highly suggest you get lots of material from the vet about what to expect when she is in labor & proper nutrition so she is not malnorished and neither are the newborns.

I still stand behind the fact you should return her. The pet store sold you a knocked up animal and now you have vet bills to deal with. Not fair at all.....

    Best wishes!! :)

  3. you can go to the library and get books on G Pigs and breeding. If you want to keep it the animal will need you to have all the knowledge you can so you can spot signs of distress. you can sue the pet shop for selling you a knocked up female and all of the vet bills you have built up. or you can return her to the shop and ask for a male that is not preggers! if you don't feel like getting stuck with babies you should not have to be. i am sorry for the whole mess.
