nope the 650 is way too big for that frame. you'de have to do some creative fitting and welding for this swap..

not a chance the motors are way different.

not a lot of difference in the physical size of the motor from what I can see,,   but am unsure if its just a bolt in..

this site has links to all the XS650 sites so you may be able to get the size of the motor in the tech specs from a site & have a measure of your frame..
