Okay I'm moving from Michigan to Ohio in three weeks. I dropped out of my highschool Months ago because the teachers simply werent giving me the help I needed in any of the grades. So basically I wasn't going to graduate on time because I couldn't learn at my own pace. Well I want to do OHVA (K12) homeschooling really bad. I have some Questions though.

-I'm 17 and I want to enroll as a Freshman, Can I?

-Can I graduate in this program?

-Is it Free?

-Can you do it from anywhere in Ohio?

I emailed OHVA but they havent emalied me back (it's been tow days) so I really need the information.

Please help! I really want to get an education and start over as a Freshman...

  1. Alright I am glad that you have not decided to just not get your diploma.  I use another school similar to K12 in ohio called OHDELA.  They like K12 offer online learning and is tuition-free. They provide you with everything you need including the computer, printer/scanner/fax machine and even internet. You can learn more by going to their website at http://www.ohdela.com or attending one of their online information sessions on Monday or Saturday at 12:30 or on Thursday evening at 6:30 at http://www.ohdela.com/infosession.html or even just call them and ask questions at 800.493.8680

Best of all they also offer a mychoice account to let you do other learning stuff such as field trip or take classes (karate, art, dance, etc.) and they have clubs like a ski club, student council and national honor society.  Call them I'm telling you its awesome.
