I am not even sure where to start looking as its only two steps that need replacing... they are on a steel frame.

  1. Well there are 2 basic types.

First we will call pan steps where the concrete is poured into a metal pan and finished. These are very easy to tearout and replace.

The second is precast, some have the option to unbolt underneath for replacement.I would say check with a local concrete contractor with commercial experience and have him/her look at.

To save time it may be beneficial to take some good pic's and sometimes e--mails work. You may need to contact a precast manufacturer in your area.

    Good Luck

  2. If you've already got the frame you can jackhammer out the old concrete and repour it. If you want to do this yourself you can contact your local home improvement store. Otherwise you can call a local Ready Mix Concrete company to do it, and get a quote for you.
