  1. Total travel time to Lyon train station is about 2 1/2 hours.

    You take a regional train from Le  Puy... to

    St. Etienne-Chateaucreux (about 1 1/2 hrs.) then catch another train to Lyon (40-50 minutes).

    Then from Lyon Part-Dieu to the airport:
