  1. Normally, you can use Opanda IExif to get the shutter counts from Nikon cameras, but it doesn't support the D100.

    Looks like the only way you'll be able to get the actually shutter actuations is to send the camera to Nikon and have them to you that number.  Using the file name is a totally inaccurate way to determine it.
