I'd like to make it with placticine "actors" :-), but I think the method is the same as with the watermelons in the linked clip.

haha thats all stop motion animation.  That was a pretty good one.  

Basically you need a good editing program and a digital camera (except for the few times he used video).  

You need to really plan this out as well.  Stop motion is I believe 12-18 frames per second.  I believe that there are some programs that are for stop motion editing although I can't think of any off hand right now.  Do a google search for them.

So you're going to be doing a Robot Chicken kind of thing huh?  The best of luck to you!!
