Hi I was wondering about my school and the strikes?

Ok Everyone In my Secondary got a letter but my class coz my teacher forgot to give out the letters.. And I am not sure if school is closed or not and its too late to find out I told my mum this and she told me to phone my mates but they wont know either and if I get up in the morning for no reason I will go mad.. What should i do?

  1. Yeah my schools closed tomorrow :) but we got letters sent to our houses to tell us... maybe you could phone the school or try your local council website? Also try listening to your local radio station because whenever my schools shut (because of snow etc) it usually announces it :) x


  2. Haven't heard anything about school strikes. Are you in the UK? If so try the school website or the local authority website. Sometimes the BBC local radio station website is also helpful during school closures due to strikes or bad weather

  3. A lot of schools now operate a telephone system for unexpected closures (weather/industrial action etc) try phoning the school, there might be an ansaphone message or check the website.

    Our local primary school is open tomorrow but secondary is closed.

  4. Ring Up your school and ask

    If there is nobody there

    Ask your mum to ring up in the morning and ask

    If there is no strike she can get you up

    If there is you can have a lie in
