  1. An I-130 is an application for a alien relative. Are you the alien relative or the US citizen? If all the paperwork is done and you have been granted a permanent residence you  will need your passport. I would bring along other forms of ID(drivers license, union card, whatever you have). Before you go call the embassy and ask! Other things may be passport style pictures, visas,ect.


  2. Montreal should have sent you a letter with a list of all the documents you need.  If you did not receive it, you will when you get the appointment letter; if you got the appointment letter but not the list, call and ask them for it.
