Hi! Is there a way to convert my Sony Handycam DCR-TRV310 from tape to SD or flash memory similar/cartridge?

Can I drop in a cartridge or converter that uses SD or flash media instead of the tape to record? Like they have convertors that let you play CD's in your car tape player. Thanks.

You cannot do it in camera. You need to upload from the camera to your PC and convert & compress the file to fit on your SD card. You have an old camera & Sony has a trade in program to upgrade to the model you want.
