I have trouble deciding what's the best/close to it of computer "anything" since I took "dufus about computers and anything relating to them 101" ;O) However, I have fantastic luck posting questions here and getting answers that actually work. Thank you very much. :-) My 1,000th question is: I heard cleaning your registry is a good idea if you have corrupt files or comp is slow etc...Is that true?. Are there any good registry cleaners that you recommend? I thank you from my toes on up. ^_^

love ya

  1. Go here: http://tpdownload.com/themosteffectivere...

    It lists top 5 the best and latest registry cleaner softwares' review in 2008.

    All can be trusted and you free download.

    All are Free 30-Day Trial.

  2. most of the times it slows down your computer.. using registry cleaner for me is a bad experience... i did it several times but same results..

  3. Registry cleaning deletes the unneeded entries in the registry and thus improves system performance. There are a lot of registry cleaners and defraggers out there for download.

    1. TuneUp Utilities --> http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Syste...

    2. Uniblue RegistryBooster --> http://www.liutilities.com/products/regi...

    3. Registry Mechanic --> http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic...

    4. Desktop Maestro --> http://www.pctools.com/desktop-maestro/d...

    5. System Mechanic --> http://www.soft32.com/download_9859.html

    You may choose any of them. However their user interface is, their cleaning method is the same.

    Go for any !!!

    Cheers :-)

  4. FOR SOME IT IS A GOOD IDEA AND FOR SOME IT ISN'T YOU JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE ONE AND BECAREFUL

  5. Mmmm, actually there are lot of registry cleaner programs and lot of similar utilities which may help to speed up your pc, such as norton utility or system mechanic, I think you can also try trial version of them but after a while you need to pay for it.

    there is also a very good registry debugger inside windows XP upward, and that is DR Watson you can run the program via run from start menu by typing drwtsn32

    last thing I wanna recommend is not to download too many programs from internet such as toolbar and bla bla, cause although they're free but many of them can open your security gates so trojan or virus can get into your system and that is how your registry gets messy.

  6. Yes, of course. Use CCleaner . http://www.filehippo.com/download_cclean...

  7. you should be knowing which registry entries you are going to delete..

    otherwise problems may occur in the system..

    so search the registry entry on the web , get the details about it and then delete it..

    ccleaner is the best one..

  8. It's a good idea, if it's legit.

    CCleaner is good.

    www.ccleaner.com

    So is the Windows Live Onecare Safety Scanner.

    http://onecare.live.com/site/en-au/defau...

    Click the Full Service Scan, and once you go through all the prompts and you get a pop-up with the actual scanner, you should expand the menu where it says "Comprehensive Scan," and uncheck the virus and spyware scans.
