This is only to Rajesh who has replied to my question. I am MBA with specialization in Finance. Presently working as a Tech Support Analyst with GENPACT(GE). Can you pls tell me more about HSBC.

If you have an MBA in finance, what are you doing as a tech supp. analyst?  Seems like you're missing out on a substantial amount of income!

Hi JJ,

Though you specified that this question is only for Rajesh, I would like to share what I know about HSBC.

HSBC is an international bank, with headquarter in London. It has many branches in India also. But from your previous question (answered by Rajesh), I believe you are asking about its subsidiary HDPI. I am not sure about its full form, but it stands for HSBC Data Processing India (or probably International...I am not sure about the last letter only). It is the back-office subsidiary of HSBC, based in Hyderabad. It does the data processing, like deciding whether the loan should be given to the applicant or not, credit limit for a credit card, etc. They don't directly interact with the customers, but they give services to the branch personnel.
