Hi Rumble tipped to prevail in Bedford Road Standard Dup
Hi Rumble has got a very good chance of prevailing in the Bedford Road Standard Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, May 31, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
The 460 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 21:30 GMT and a total of six quality hounds have been attracted towards it. Their names are as follows: Guinness Magic, Hi Rumble, River Dubh, Pennys Midas, Daleroad Way and Kreschatik Paddy.
Looking at the current form and experience of Hi Rumble, it seems that he will manage to walk away with a comfortable victory today. However, victories have eluded him for the past few events, which will discourage the punters from risking money on him.
The D. Elliott’s trained hound has not managed to win any race out of his past five appearances in this class. Despite that, his performances have not been bad at all and he has always given a tough time to his opponents.
The seasoned dog has got very good speed and stamina, but will need some luck to work in his favour as well. He finished runner up in three consecutive races, which shows that he is fully capable of fighting at the front.
In his most recent outing, the black dog gave a tough time to the race winner, but had to settle for second position in the end. He got off to a brisk start, but lost some momentum towards the end.
However, Hi Rumble has the tools to make a winning comeback at Henlow today. He is the son of Ace Hi Rumble out of Sizzler Lady and was born in June 2008.
The bookies have more confidence in the abilities of Guinness Magic though, as he is a decent runner and is carrying a very good momentum at the moment. He has won twice out of his previous five outings, thus the bettors will be risking a lot of money in
his favour.
The S. Cahill’s trainee struggled a bit in his previous race, as he finished fourth in it. However, he will certainly test the skills of his rivals at Henlow today.
