  1. If you are really interested in james joyce you can take a james joyce walking tour of the city and you can see the city joyce saw and which he focused his work around and they will bring you to the james joyce centre it costs e10 or e8 if you are a student and lasts 90minutes.Enjoy dublin!

  2. dublin is pretty miserable at the moment! weather is terrible! god love ya comin on hols over here! do the usual stuff go to guinness's, do a city bus tour, go the phoenix park (its lovely there on a nice day) and same with stephen's green too! there is a good viking splash tour too! i did that myself and im a local! ya go round dublin and then it goes in the water too! its good and you get to wear viking hats and shout at random ppl! temple bar is a good spot for pubs and some nice restaurants too!

  3. The Joyce Family started off well to do upper middle class, but James Joyces Father Stanislaus Joyce could not handle Money and frittered it away. He was a great Singer and spent most of his time in Pubs with his Cronies and the Family Fortune was Depleted with the result that the Family was constantly moving House to escape their Debters and each House was a Little more Shabbier than the last. So they Literally lived all over Dublin in many different Houses in the course of time. I think their First House was in Brighton Road in Rathgar. He also lived in Eccles Street on the Site of the Mater Private Hospital. He also lived in North Great Charles Street. There is the Joyce Tower in Sandycove 1 1/2 miles from Dunlaoghaire now a Museum. The Joyce Centre in 35 North Great Georges Street has a Wealth of Information on Him just off Parnell Street. There is Christchurch Cathedral and Dublinia which tells the Story of Dublins Origins and its Viking Past, and Beside the Church there is the Floor plan of the Houses of the Vikings in Original Dublin on the Ground. There is St Patricks Cathedral down the Hill in Patrick Street. There is Guinness Brewery and the Hop Store up the Road in St James Street.Go to St Michans Church in Church st not far from the Four Courts, it was Originally an Viking Church and Part of the Original Church together with the 400 Year old Section is still Open.Visit the Crypt and see the Skeleton of a Knight and a Nun and a Criminal which has its Hand Missing. Grafton Street is the Main Area and Streets leading off it like Wicklow Street  for all the Top Fashion Shops. Not Forgetting St Stephens Green. Weather is mixed at moment with Sun and Showers and is warm so bring Light Rain coat, the average Temperature is 17- 21 Celsius. Have a nice Stay in Dublin Good Luck.

  4. While in Dublin you should visit the Guinness Storehouse. and take a trip on the Viking Splash Tour!

  5. I'm not sure but there is a James Joyce museum in sandycove close to the beach. I'm sure you'll be able to find it. Ans yeah the Viking splash tour ROCKS! so does the guiness factory tour.
