My first name is Aliona, which I love, however I have a Russian last name that I would like to change to a more diverse one. Please suggest a great surname that will flow good with my first name. I would like the name to sound good and be easy to pronounce. I'll give you some information about me to help you help me :) I'm a professional ballroom dancer, my astrological sign is Taurus (born in May) and I am a very genuine person. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!!

  1. Aliona Major

    Aliona Winters

    Aliona Wagner

    Aliona Hamilton

    Aliona Carona

  2. Hi Aliona, here are some ideas for last names:

    Bavaria

Tora  ("toro" is a variation of Taurus...  Tora sounds more feminine and goes better with your first name)

Danza  (a variation of "dance", this is also a real last name - - here's what Ancestry.com says about it:

    'DANZA Name Meaning and History

    1.  from danza ‘dance’, hence a nickname for someone who enjoyed dancing, but possibly from the same word, in Old Italian meaning ‘agreement’, ‘pact’, ‘coalition’.

    2.  habitational name from Danza in Salerno province.')

Another idea:  perhaps you could use your favorite dance step, or the name of your favorite dance?  (Aliona Doble, Aliona Salsa, etc.)

I hope that helps - - best of luck!
