Hi. Where are the best places to see Elks in Oregon in September (if possible?) ?

but not so far from the coast ? And where could we go for whale watching by boat (I know that it is possible to see them from the coast) in Oregon? Sorry for my bad English...

  1. I'm not sure but Elks aren't that great I saw some in Yellowstone and they don't do a lot they just run in front of your car and try to get run over (or it seems like it)


  2. The Dean Creek area on Hwy 38 is a good bet. It's near Reedsport, Oregon and is located right along the road.

  3. There is an elk refuge on Highway 38, just outside of Reedsport, OR,. as for whale watching, there are many charter boats up and down the coast that go out on whale watching trips
