Hi, use the plug in things that keep mice and rats away, they also work on cockroaches, since we got ours we do not see a spider either.

we always take ours on holiday to florida and spain and we never, ever see a thing, keeps flying bugs away too.

Baking soda and powdered sugar mixed in equal parts is a good roach killer. Just spread around the area where you see roaches and soon you won't see them anymore. (Boric Acid, while slightly more toxic, is naturally occurring and is another way to get rid of them.)

Make a tea from tobacco leaves or old cigarette butts. Spray/squirt/pour the liquid on to the bugs directly. Spray onto crops, food plants to kill pests. It washes off, and is not toxic to animals, so if your goats get into the carrots, no worries.

To make a toxic poison, put the tobacco into kerosene, or gasoline. Spray around baseboards, floors, tubs, and food storage areas.

DO NOT MAKE CONTACT WITH FOOD! WASH ALL UTENSILS BEFORE USING.
