  1. First, be certain the property is zoned for those amenities.

    Then, acquire the proper paper work for your permits, andread them carefully.

    Get a survey of the land, which will indicate your building setbacks, property dimensions, etc.

    Have plans of the building(s) drawn up to be certain they will set on the property without any easement or setback infringements and include all parking requirements and any buffer zones(green spaces).
