Leah, unless your friend is a member of the House of Bourbon or of the junior House of Orléans, he or she is not French royalty.

I do not personally know any members of the British Royal Family although my (rather young) step-grandmother is acquainted with a number of them, specifically Charles, I believe. Friends that I have made who are titled generally fall along the lines of nobility rather than royalty, although I do know a few members of formerly sovereign families.

The important thing about friendship, however, is not the status or titles a person has but rather the quality of their personality. I have many, many fantastic "commoner" friends and I wouldn't trade them for a high profile British royal for the world :-)

im not personally a friend of any of the royal family,

but my friend mr terry hutt was a very close friend of HM queen  elizabeth the queen mother .as a result of that friendship mr hutt is a personal friend of prince charles

One time, my cat got out, and when she came back, she told me she'd been to London to visit the queen, and she frightened a mouse from under her chair while she as there.
