  1. There is Equifax, Experian, Trans Union, and TRW,

  2. You're entitled to 1 free credit report each year from the 3 credit bureaus.

    www.equifax.com

    www.experian.com

    www.transunion.com

Just write them or download a request form and they'll send your credit report in 2-3 weeks.

There is a fee to get your credit score ($10-25)

  3. Be careful.  The only authorized free credit report is from freecreditreport.com which is sponsored by the three credit reporting agencies.  Anyone else will probably try to hard sell you into buying additional services.  You will have to give out the same information you give to freecreditreport otherwise, they won't be able to get your report for you, so it is probably safer to just go with freecreditreport.com

  4. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i...

this will not give you a credit score but it will tell you what you owe and what reporting.

If try to rebuild credit try http://creditloader.com. After three months I was on a few bureaus. They will let you borrow the funds with NO CREDIT CHECK and hold them on deposit.

  5. The website for a free no strings attached credit report is www.annualcreditreport.com. This site won't give you your credit score, but you can see what information is in your credit report. You can use this to guess what your score may be. If you actually want your score you will have to pay for it. I don't recommend paying for an individual score from one of the bureaus. These scores aren't widely used by many credit grantor's and lenders. If you want to see your score that matters get your fico score. www.fico.com Hope this helps!
