I have been assured from my boyfriend that you should be fine if you wear dark blue jeans with shoes not trainers.

They will not let you in at all with trainers on. Also no caps or hoodies & you should be fine.

mate, if ye ganna come to the toon for a neet on the lash, an aal yuv got to wear are blue jeans. Buy some blackun's an yer be cush divven't worrie aboot yer shoes as lang as ther dark nee one ill giv a monkeys after eight o'clock anyway. Have a belting neet in the TOON!, beware there lots of pretendy geordies oot there (student types).

Smart jeans are allowed as most men wear them up here, trainers are allowed if they are smart but it's not worth risking it.

MOST CLUBS HAVE A 'DRESS CODE' so probably not and don't wear trainers either.
