  1. my maths tutor who was a maths teacher was £17 for 2 hours i think:)

  2. around £20 - £25 per hour

  3. I am a maths tutor 1 to 1 and charge £20 per hour

  4. my sister currently pays £25 per hour for a chemistry tutor for my niece.

  5. depends - on a one to one basis I would expect  to pay £25 an hour., but really have no idea what the going rate is!

  6. Hi.. I am a private Tutor and charge different rates for the level of mathematics to be taught.  Age 5-10, £20 per hour; age 11-16, £24 per hour and for age 16+ I charge £30 per hour.  I charge extra for any expenses.  You will have to pay taxes on all money you earn as a maths tutor if you are being paid for the provision of a professional service.
