Hi am looking for a good memory foam mattress topper?

hi am looking for a double memory foam mattress topper, i have never had any dealings with memory foam so it would be great if anyone can give me there thoughts on memory foam and what they think of it and of course where to buy what brand ect many thanks. i am from the uk

Check Tuesday Morning if you have it in the UK? They have good deals. Look for stores that have mark downs on great brands. Your best bet is there.

Tempur is a well-known brand for memory foam mattress toppers. But I bought my memory foam mattress from http://www.internetmemorymattress.co.uk - they sell a brand called New Horizon. Its quality is comparable to Tempur's while the price is much cheaper!

Be careful, as memory foam has become more popular, there are unscrupulous dealers, selling inferior quality foam.

I bought a 4" topper from this firm, and found th quality to be good.

I bought mine from this firm, and found th quality of foam to be pretty good. If you can afford it, go for a 4" as it offers the best support and comfort. Most toppers are 2" which I don't think are deep enough to offer the support you need.

Once you have bought your topper, you may find regular sheets don't fit. I buy deep pocketted sheets from a firm called Northern Nights, which is part of Q.V.C. They are always made from egyptian cotton, and are made bigger to accommodate extra depth on your mattress.

Memory foam mattress is known to provide better support to your body as the visco elastic foam conforms to the curve of your body when you lie on it. Tempur-Pedic is a well known name producing memory foam mattresses, but it is rather expensive.
