  1. You will not be able to feel baby at 13 weeks - put your mind at rest by going and seeing your midwife who can listen for a heartbeat - however I am sure everything will be fine

  2. You usually dont feel movement until at least 16 weeks. So, not feeling him at 13 weeks is perfectly normal. If you are really freaked out then I am sure that you can get in to see your Dr to take a quick listen to his heart beat to reassure you but I am sure that everything is fine.

  3. Well is this your first? If it is you won't feel the baby for another month or two. If you are having any pains you need to see a doctor ASAP! I will be praying 4 you. GOOD LUCK !

  4. At 13 weeks You most likely wont feel anything yet anyway.

I didnt feel anything until 19 weeks with my first child some women dont feel anything until 25 or 26 weeks.

I am sure you are fine, If you are absolutely concerned then call your doctor so you can go in and hear babies heartbeat.

    Good luck to you

  5. A Doppler will pick up the heartbeat and put an end to your worries.  You can get the doctor to listen for the heartbeat or even buy your own is you have the money

  6. I'm also 13 weeks and I don't feel mine, either.  Being my third, I will agree with everyone else that it's completely normal not to be able to.  Some people will tell you they could feel theirs, but personally, I don't put much belief in it.

It's very, very common to be worried about a miscarriage at this point, before you can feel the baby but after you know you're pregnant.  Try not to worry (I know that's hard).  Call your doctor in the morning and see if they can fit you in to listen for the heartbeat.

  7. You will not feel the baby move that soon, nor will you know the s*x of the baby that soon. Most women do not feel movement until their 4th or fifth month. If this is your first child, then the first time you feel movement may feel like butterflys in you stomach. It will be a fluttering movement. The only way to tell if the baby is dead or not is to go to your doctor and listen for the heartbeat.

  8. Not feeling your baby move at 13 weeks is VERY normal. I didn't start to feel movement until 16 weeks, and even then I didn't really realize what I was feeling. If you are really concerned, consult your physician, and he or she should be able to give you a little more information.

  9. I think your worrying too muhc, i didnt feel my baby until he was 5 months. be patient, think positive , everything is fine, if he was dead ud be in alot of pain!

  10. Usually you do not feel any movement until after 18 weeks.  It took forever for me to be able to feel movement.  You may feel some fluttering within the next few months.

When you go for your check ups...most often at every visit they will do a doppler to hear the baby's heart beat.  If you are concerned, you may be able to stop by and have them check it for you.  Your appointment should be coming soon.

    Good Luck!

  11. Have you felt him previously? If this is your first, it may take up to week 20 -24 before you feel anything. If you are truly worried, then you need to contact your doctor so that they can do an ultrasound do make sure he is alive. I am 11 weeks and haven't felt the baby, but saw it on the ultrasound Tuesday, and it is VERY active!!

  12. You won't feel him at 13 weeks. It is unlikely the baby is dead. How do you know it is a he?

Anyway. I didn't feel my son until 18 weeks and I wasn't even sure it was him until 19 weeks.

  13. granted that it is normal to not feel fetal movement at thirteen weeks [ I am 21 and just felt mine yesterday.], if you are still worried about your baby's health you can call your doctor and see if you can go in to listen on the TOCO, or hit up your local ER and tell them you think something is wrong with the baby. generally, alll the fun stuff [ like movement and at home monitors and the like] don't start to occur until the middle of your second trimester.

but hey, if mom is worried, it is always a good bet to hit up a doctor and see how the baby is doing!
