Hi...can I ask about a curiosity?

Question

I'm Italian, and in the morning I go to school at quarter to eight...but I'd like: What time do you go to school in the morning? And, what time do you come back at home in the afternoon?

Years ago (I mean about 18 years) my wife's first class started at 8:45 a.m. and she was out of school at 3:20 p.m. M kind you she then had an hour and twenty minute bus ride home. So it was after 4:30 before she got home.

My daughter goes to Primary School and the gates open at 8.40, registration is at 8.50am and she finishes school at 3.05pm.

i leave at 8:45 (school starts at 9:15) and come back at 4 30, (school ends at 4)

Well, this is homeschool. There is no set time to begin or end. But we get up at 8am and begin right after breakfast and chores. Then we continue until we have accomplished our day's goals. Today that was at about 2pm.

We start school whenever we are ready, and we stop when we choose to.

Home schooling means we learn at our own pace, and set our own schedules.

This is the home school board, but I know the answer because I work for several teachers. School starts at 7:30 at the High school and is done at 2:30.

Our middle school begins at 8am and is released at 3:25pm. We (teachers) are here 7:45am - 3:45pm.

Here in the Uk, our schools start usually at 8.45am and finish at 3.30pm.

My son gets the bus at 6:55am and gets off the bus at 3:20pm.

I'm home educated so my siblings and I do our lessons whenever we've done our chores and gotten ourselves organised - we don't have any fixed start times or finishing times for school.

I have no idea about the school hours in my country. I've only ever spent 5 weeks at school in 10 years but I *think* schools in my country (Australia) go from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon. I wouldn't swear to it though, lol.

School here that is in California starts at 8:15 and ends at 2:30pm

Good English, well done. Kids here in Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland, start at 9.00am and stop for lunch at 1.00pm for Secondary schools (age 12 - 17) and stop at 12.00pm for Primary (age 5 - 12). They all have a mid morning break around 11.00am. In the afternoon the Primary kids work from 1.00pm to 3.20pm whilst the Secondary kids work from 2.00pm until 3.50pm. There is a short mid-afternoon break. ;-)
