  1. Why you have doubts? Try to find some contacts to practice your German language. Do you already know German? It won't be difficult to get new friends which will help you with the language. But be warned: German is one of the most difficult language for non-native speakers. So take care and have a lot of practice BEFORE go to Germany!

Btw, Ulm city is not so good as in northern Germany!! In the south you won't have the ocean and worse characters than in the north, believe me!

  2. yeah, i was born in Germany, your worried about your language? thats not a problem, well i lived in Berlin and english is the second language and is the second language practically in every country.

alot of people dont realize how big the english language is im sure you will make it..

  3. Make sure to bring plenty of toilet paper, insect repellant and bottled water.  You can't get those here.  Nah, just kidding.  Of course you can get along here.  Just try to learn a bit of the language, so you can at least order a meal, ask the location of the restroom, and ride the subway.  A lot of the younger people speak some English, and if you attempt first to speak to them in German, they are mostly forthcoming about being helpful.

  4. r u jewish?

  5. not if you don't have at least 100.000 euro, otherwise you will make it

  6. You'll make it if you have the determination to make it. Everyone has the capability of adjusting...it just depends on if you're willing to put forth effort.

  7. sure, germans have been learning to speak english for years now.they have to learn it school now cuz thats how they get could jobs.u could try to learn a little german.but if you need help with the language they will help you.I know  this cuz i visit my grandmother and family members in germany all the time and they speak good english.Germans love americans and they like learning about america. There are some older people  that are not crazy about americans but you'll do fine, would not worry about it.even I got around my self easy.

  8. Yeah no problem!! If you assert your self you will learn parts of the language that you really need to know fast and many speak English and are friendly as well.

Try to learn the language though but you will be just fine. I was nervous my first time too and have now lived there and been going 18 years.  Don't worry, just go have fun and learn!

  9. Germans under the age of 35-40 speak perfect English, many better than native English speakers. Also Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria etc.....of course not the French though.

Seriously, try to learn a little, but you'll have no problems at all!
