Question

i would like to join in 2009 july or august ....typically when should i take the GRE so that i can apply for some top universities before their deadline runs out?i mean each univ have their own deadlines and so when shoul i take the exam to avoid missing any of those deadlnes....pls help me:-) rhank yu

The terms at most US universities start in September - sometimes August, and sometimes October, but most usually in September. So be aware of that re: when you plan to begin, and when you'll need to apply for a student visa and etc.

Each uni does have different application deadlines, so you are going to need to check their web pages to see when they need your materials. Take the GRE a couple months in advance of the deadline, if you can. In fact, since a lot of grad programs seem to want materials in to the by November/December/January, I'd have you take the exam no later than September. But again, check each uni's deadline dates, as you may have more time than this.

You should send all the documents by end of February. If you want admission with Scholarship, then all the documents should be sent before end of Nov 2008.

It will take atleast 1 month after you take GRE to apply. So, plan accordingly.

hi veejay... im too applying for MS ..i did my BE in computers..can u help me..i should appear in which GRE subjective or general??  

admissions deadlines are usually feb...so u shld appear for GRE n TOEFL in  nov or dec ..dnt b late,....
