Hi!!! can anyone help me?

my wife and i are having a baby, she lives in china, she is chinese and i am an american. do we have to register our baby in china and give our child a chinese name? are can we give our child and american name?

i would think you can name your baby any name you want....

Wherever the child is born is where you register the baby's name and give it whatever name you want

Where is the baby going to live? In china- chinese name, in america- american name.

Maybe first name chinese, middle name american??  that way it can have both parts of his/her culture .
