Hi can anyone tell me how to get an identity card for a teenager in the UK?

Its for a boy of fourteen who looks older, for proof of age for train travel etc. I have looked on the internet but cant find any info. Its for the UK only btw. All help appreciated.

  1. Citizenship card. Go to your local post office and ask for a form


  2. You should ask the school if they can provide a student ID.

    The ISIC card is internationally recognised, just google isic card & it'll bring up everything you want to know.

  4. Sorry but for an identity card of the uk you need to be +16.

    try getting a student card or a passport.....

    If you live in london you can get a travel card/oyster so you just show it and travel free in the busses and cheap on trains....sorry but i dont know much about places outside of london.
