  1. If you mean Wickham Lane in Welling (Kent)

it can be a little rough, but probably not dangerously so. It's near where all the shops are, so quite busy. On the plus side; a very good train link to central London (20 mins). Let me know if you'd like more info on the SE London / NW Kent area.

The Plumstead end of the road is a working class area, mainly hardworking, blue collar people, quite a lot of Asian people around there too.

In this region, being near a station is a benefit. The traffic can be so bad that a train is the easiest way to central London etc.

  2. Wickham Lane could also be down in Plumstead. this bit isn't as nice as Welling but you could do worse.

As far as the south end of it at Welling goes, that's quite a good area.  The whole borough of Bexley is pretty good, in the main it's pretty safe, and there's enough to do there. It's also cheaper because it's not on the Underground and it's far from the city centre, but that's only a train ride away.

I think it is a good place for kids to grow up too.

But definately take a good look around before agreeing to anything

  3. there are quite a few wickham lanes what area are we talking.
