Hi can u tell me How to create a carpet rug?

You want to convert a piece of carpet into a rug?  The edges need to be professionally bound.  I know of nothing that will hold the jute edges and fiber together.  I had three made in 1970 and still have one of them.......and the edging is still perfect........the carpet is looking well worn but the edges are fine.  You would have to contact a carpet store and ask them who they have do it.
