Hi do you have a wireless modem or do you have a non wireless modem??

If it is wireless where is it located - im having difficulty putting mine in a good spot

if its non wireless where do you have it located also?

Wireless and it is hanging on the wall near the spot where the phone line comes into the house.  Apple Airport is running three laptops at once on a dial-up connection.  

Keep them away from anything large and metal.
