Hi I have the Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on player & I am not sure if I should stop buying HD-DVD disk. I do know that Warners Brothers Co. are going to support Blu-ray & I was thinking buying the PS3 because it's cheaper & it has Blu-ray drive. I do not buy DVD disk anymore & I am replacing them to HD-DVD. Should or should not buy HD-DVD? I like Paramount Pictures & Universal & both of the movie studios they support HD-DVD.

Movies that are coming HD-DVD soon are Scarface,Indiana Jones Collection,Gladiator,Munich & ect.

  1. Dude just buy it, these stupid format wars last forever and in the end everything works out anyways.

Color TV concept was first introduced in 1904, 1st public showing was 1924 ish.  How many of the major production companies do you think tried to monopolize on that?  In the end it still wasn't even widely utilized in the majority of homes until the 60's and no one company had the rights to it.

I have an HD-A30 and I don't sweat it at all.

Eventually I'll get a PlayStation 3, just b/c I like it and I'll have that option too.

It's all the same and my stack of HD DVD's keeps getting bigger...

  2. I just buy DVDs

  3. Buy whatever is cheaper for now if you don't have a blu-ray player yet...just wait.

  4. If there's a movie you want to own, and it only comes on HD DVD, and you have an HD DVD player, why wouldn't you buy it?

I have the HD DVD for my XBox 360, and I have a PS3....I still buy both.   If there's a choice, I'd buy Blu Ray, but I don't hesitate to buy a movie on HD DVD if that's the only choice.
