*Sorry I meant to write would parents tip me? I know I am a volunteer so I won't be getting paid, but I am just wondering, Would you tip a volunteer who worked at there son/daughter nursery school camp? I am not doing this just to get money but I was just asking so I could also take the paying job that someone ofered me also if most people wont tip. But please just answer this question, would you tip?

  1. No, parents pay pretty steep fees for day care, and no we don't tip extra. It's not  a restaurant.  If you take really good care of kids, you may get a "thank you" box of chocolate or cookies, but that usually takes more then a few month.

I hate to tell you but you won't get tipped because they are most likely to be paying for camp.  I worked in a daycare/summer camp but I was payed and the parents never showed a sign of tipping me.  The parents probbably think you are getting paid.  I hope this helps.  If you have any more questions about babysitting or daycare just e-mail me at mydakota250@yahoo.com.  I am a birth through Kindergarten major at Western Carolina University.  Good Luck!

  4. I would probably tip if my kid was attached and talked about them a lot. I worked at a summer camp last year and this little girl always talked about me and I ended up getting a baby sitting job off of it so maybe you can earn money off of that.
