Hi folks i have a 3ft by 1 ft by 1.5 ft fish tnk with a power filter which has a capacity of 1500l/hr is it ok

for my fish tank which has around 26 gallons or is it too heavy for my tank also pls tell me the capacity of filter req. for my tank and what kind of filters are available thses days ...also is it absolutely necessary to put a filter in my tank.....

that filter is too powerful for your tank. You need a turnover rate of 3-5 times. So you need 26gallons x 5 = 130gallon turnover rate at the most. 1500L/hr is over 300 gallons. Way too much.
