  1. **** maccas seriously your most likely a hard work so get put there and do it!

work in a cafe they always need staff and you get better experience and better pay trust me ive had the same waitress job since i was 13 im now 16 i still love my job and ive earnt over $20 000 from my work its great fun

you dont need maccas please please try somewhere else

  2. The manager is probably just short handed and has not had time to put you on the schedule.  I am American and those registers were confusing to me also maybe you should talk to the manager and ask her to put you in the back making burgers until you get the hang of it.  It takes a bigger person to tell someone they are not ready for the front yet.

  3. Dont give up. It will take time to build up speed but the fact that you care shows that you will improve at your job. It isnt easy , the work youre doing. I admire fast food workers..they work their a** off. And there's nothing better than a great fast food worker...they make people's day better. Keep trying, one day at a time, and take pride in your work. MCd's is a good company to work for and your work is valuable. If anybody ever tries to tell you different, then tell them to stop going through the drivethru then for their breakfast lunch and dinner. Mcdonalds is a huge low priced luxury for Americans so they can shut the shnike up! Good luck

  4. i worked there for a year now im still kinda slow lol it take years to get used to it completely

them not calling u back is weird cuz even if u r mega slow they let u stay theres this girl in the kitchen mega slow i mean like sllllllllooooooooooooooowwwwwwww lol they havetn fired her  Were they hiring? cuz maby they got nuff people hmm thats confusing

    maccas let every 1 work

  5. Your first day, of corse there will be trouble, hon. If they are judging you by the first experience you had at the job they are not being fair. It could be that they might be busier over the weekends. Maybe Monday they will have more time to train you. Do the best you can ,ask questions when you dont understand ,and Have a good attitude, you will be okay. Just keeping doing what you've done.

  6. I would hope that they would take the proper time to train you before they put you on the front counter!

I have never heard of anyone saying that they had to keep waiting for their schedule. You need to talk to the manager and tell her that you need to know when you are coming to work full time, and if not, you will look elsewhere for a job.

If your hired, your hired. No messing around.

  8. It's common for jobs like that to keep you on a perpetual schedule.  Just go in on Monday after school, pay attention and listen to direction.  Really listen to the instructions so that you can learn your duties seamlessly.  First jobs can be a bit a nerve wracking, but if you're smart and a good worker you should catch on in no time.  Smile and be friendly especially with your supervisors so that you can get on the schedule more often (more hours=more money).  There's a bit of politics involved, but master the McDonald's politics and you could bring those skills with you into the boardroom when you're older.  Also, make sure your appearance is up to code.  Neat hair, clean nails, scrubbed face and kept shoes.  Good luck- first jobs are rights of passage.  You'll likely learn a lot about yourself.  It's an exciting time.

  10. They would have to stick you on a rota which could take a few days if the rota is full... don't panic they wouldn't have let you do the training if you didn't pass the interview which means they did want you there. Also they may need someone there to fully train you before they leave you to it. They wouldn't stick you in on the weekend before your trained because that's there buisiest time. Leave off guys it's probs their 1st job no matter where it is it's still a job. At least they have one instead of claiming from the goverment! good on you kido xx

  11. yes actually it does take that long. your lucky it took them a week for them to schedule me. so you being able to start that soon is a blessing. you will be slow at the beginning. EVERYONE starts like that. where do you think the managers started from. and yes i felt that confused. i felt like everyone was laughing at me behind my back. it took me like a week to get that hang of everything. and about a half a week after that to get even better. everyday you will get better at what you do. just concetrate on what they say to you. be very attentive. dont act like you know what your doing when you really dont. and if you need help dont be afraid to speak out. Mcdonalds is supposed to be a team. everyone is there for the customers. goodluck

  12. Mace is , just , crab ...... work @ KFC

  13. Just calm down. They are happy to have you there, no one wants to work at crappy mcdonalds and if they dont like you, its no loss. And dont work without a contract! Dont let them make you work and give you no money for it, cos thats what they can do if you dont have your conract. You arent their slave, so you dont have to work like one.

  14. HATE McDonald's! NEV ER EVER WORK THEIR ITS SO DISGUSTING.

  15. English please ? Or any other lingual language known to man ?

  16. lol ur excited about working at mc d's ? wow u have issues u need to confront them!
