  1. no need to go to RTO u can use without any problem as far as you have all the papers original and it should be in your name. If the vechile is on some body's name then you  go to Rto to change the name as well as the registration number.

  2. NOC is important for this. & also make ur 2 wheeler insurance. Carrying vehicle by Railway is better,so first enquired in Railway office.

It will take 1 week to 10 days for carrying vehicle from Maharashtra to Karnataka

  3. take NOC from RTA in Maharashtra...

take the vehicle to Karnataka and approach RTA in the new place... and get a new number...

  4. its simple if u go through an agent...

u first get n.o.c from r.t.o maharastra, then go to karnataka r.t.o. u need to mention the city u r transferring the vehicle to in karnataka with maharashtra r.t.o. then in karnatake r.t.o submit the n.o.c with the original r.c book and pay all applicable taxes like octroi, sales, road whtever applicable in that state. then once the formalities done, they will give u a reciept and subsequently new r.c book will be issued and its done....

  5. You have to get No Objection Certificate from the Regional TGransport Office where the vehicle is registered.  If you go through some Motor Driving Training School,it will be faster as they will have some contacts in R.T.O.Office.   You can also approach R.T.O. Office directly.
