  1. If your talented go and look for an academy! if not forget it because you willl never make it

  2. What the h**l you mean by "risky". if Sachin Tendulkar would have thought the same thing then can you imagine where Indian cricket would have been heading?

Go with your heart. I know that your parents are very reluctant but it's your job to convince them.

Ask yourself, would you be happy without Cricket? Would you be able to get the same pleasure in the profession you do in future?

Money is not everything, what matters is what you believe in and enjoy doing even if you don't get money for it.

Hoping to see a new Sachin(If you want to be a batsman of course)

  3. No my son,go & get couching .you are just 16,you may be Joginder Sharma,& moreover Kapil Dev of our state.

  4. well nitish,

i think ur dream is going to remain as a dream itself ( but i am sorry to say that)

i say like that because i feel its too late for you. actually, by 16 yrs of age, any other person would have played more than 5 tournaments at least but u say that u have never even taken any coaching...

may be you can take a chance by leaving your studies completely and concentrating only on your dream. but as you said, i too think it is risky in case you couldn't do your cricket well..

maybe you should have thought about your dream 4 yrs earlier

  5. It is a good dream to have, & if you are good enough you can handle both things. Brett Lee did his HSC exams while on tour of S.Africa with the Aus schoolboys team. He is now a successful cricketer & businessman.

  6. Hi, Nitiish

your are too late to start. but if you can perform well it is ok.

it takes averagely 15 years to be a profectional and technical cricketer.

  7. it's not too late.

any way quickly you need to join a club and create your talant and practice hard. you can join to any club because you only 16.

if you practice nothing gonna be hard.

play much cricket as you can every day.

  8. Hello, Nitish;

If you dream of becoming a cricketer, and you love the game, then go for it.  ask your Sports Master at school how you can properly find out how to do it. You are on your school's cricket team, I would presume. Best wishes to you.
