Hi guys, can anyone suggest me a few nice hotels to stay in pondicherry which overlooks the beach?

and also please let me know where i can hire cheap 2 wheelers to travel around pondi.Which part of pondi will you find the french culture??i know its all over pondi but im sure there must be certainn areas wheres its more concentrated

Many hotels are there near the beach. Some of them are Lotus, Then, if you come to the Ajantha,  there are only hotels. For example, Hotel Surguru, Anantha Inn, Jaya Inn, Jeyaram and many more. There are also government guest houses. There if you stay it won't be much nice. Then you can get motor bikes for rent at Mission street. You asked for french culture, if you visiting the beach and nearby ares , you can find  french architectured buildings. Be sure to visit the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville and  the most wonderful area in Pondicherry, Lawspet and Lawspet helipad and Airport.  Have a nice time!I am a Pondicherrian living in Chikmagalur, Karnataka

you think its on sea shore opt for Seaguls or Ajantha if not move toward E.C.R road many hotels are there.
