to become an actress but there is a little problem i look quite childish and like a kid but i have this desire to become an actress and a very successful one.But wat i want to know where shud i go .I live in delhi so plz tell me is dere any place in delhi where i can go for the auditions.i have this talent in me 2 bcome an actress and iam also gud looking (though i look childish,so wat?)plz help me.tell me where should i go for bcoming an actress.i reallly dnt want to do the course for acting coz its in my genes...plz help me.tell me a place in delhi where i can go for this purpose...who would accept me d way iam(childish)i want 2 bcome a top actress like preity,rani,katrina not some one movie actress.iam obsessed...plz help me...huu.

I would suggest you to plz join IIFT wherein you will learn how to talk, interact, walk, and act and also you will get the chance to present something by which you can start your acting career.

First of, you can become whatever you want in life. The reason most people don't achieve their dreams is because of discouragement, laziness and lack of determination. You should take that course of acting if you still can. Remember the more you practice something, the better you'll get. So even a master actor can profit out of the interaction with other actors and the involvement in different roles/characters.

First thing you should do is get some head shots (some nice pictures centered on your face/head should do), and a nice resume.

You don't have to have been in tons of movies and plays to have a good resume. Make sure you tell of any acting experience (even school plays) and training you've had, you're young, so they know not to expect a huge resume.

Next you should look for castings. Either get a agent or start looking everywhere. I would recommend an agent, you wanna focus on acting, not on being an agent.

The fact that you look young can be a good thing for you right now, you might find roles playing younger characters and you will eventually start aging, so you'll look for new roles that fit your look.

I'm not saying it's gonna be easy, just don't give up and work harder then the rest and you'll become the actress you wanna be.

You are right look doesnt matter, look at this padu (deepika), she is not extra ordinary looking actress but her dream took her upto SRK. So keep dreaming and improving your skills and looks. You may be confident on your genes (of acting) but those classes are also in one way gives you platform to show your talent.

But whatever you do, remeber you are still young for those goons in the industry, look for reputed classes and reputed photographer (who can take nice photoshoot). I think Anupam Kher runs acting classes, and the guy is very respected in the industry. I dont have much info.
