hi guys and girls my next doors moped wont start i no a lil about these and the spark is fine i have even tryed useing a can of easystart and it wont have it at all i a just cant get my head around it could it be a piston ring or some thing else sorry to add in but this happend at about 50 mph and it just conked out

if you think it may be a piston ring you can do this to figure out.  Go to a cheap auto parts store.  I like Harbor Freight and Tool.  Get a compression tester.  Its a guage with a hose and fitings.  Check the compression.  Then pour a very small about of motor oil like a teaspoon or so in the cylinder (thru spark plug hole) then check compression agian.  If the compression has gone up since before putting the oil in.  The compression rings are kaput.  If it was going fifty then conked out probably not the rings, they usually go out gradually.
