  1. i went skiing in a place called Champoluc (i think) the instructor was a sleaze!

  2. I wish! that has always been my dream and when i am older i really want to go there. i really want to go there and see all the historical site like the Trevi Fountain, Roman Colliseum (not sure on spelling) and go to a Ampitheater and definantly the Leaning tower of Pisa.  for Social Studies we had to make a brochure and i picked Italy and now i am dying to go there and i know so much about it. So have you ever been to the US? and about the Italian peeps, i have never met any so i dont know. but i had a substitute that went there and she said american kids behave so much better. she said that when they were in line at the air port kids were running around and were cutting them in line. but i dont know. thats just her opinion.

  13. I have been blessed to visit Italy many times. Rome is one of my favorite cities. We've been too many cities in Toscana. Our travels have taken us as far north as Lake Como and as far south as Sicilia. I loved Taormina, Ravello, Gubbio, and we've been to Venice once in each season. What memories! Verona, Bologna, Civita de Bagnoreggio, up in the clouds. I found the Italian people delightful, helpful, and charming. Ciao.

  20. I have been to Italy many times:

Rome (Lovely, lots of things to see, fairly expensive though)

Sicily - 3 times (Husband is Sicilian so mainly go to visit family)

  21. Spent 5 weeks there when my brother lived in Torino.  We were able to get a taste of Italian life (didn't realize you can't grocery shop whenever, and that you had to buy your grocery bags!).  The people were wonderful.  We attempted to learn some Italian before we came over.  An Italian struck up a conversation with me at lunch, and I attempted to inform him (in Italian) that I only understood a little (un po) Italian.  When my daughter was sick in Tuscano the people in the pharmacy were very sympathetic.  We loved it and plan on returning.  I am currently interviewing for a teaching position in Rome.  We may be back sooner than we anticipated!
