Hi guys.. im goin to kerala on 24th night.. pls help me which places can i see in 6 to 7 days...?

im all pumped up.. goin to kerala.. expecting it to be very nice.. im in bangalore.. going to kerala via coimbatore route.. pls tell me whic all places can i cover in kerala and also on the way back.. we are also planning to visit some nearby places in tamilnadu on the way back... its urgent guys... pls send me informative answers.. my budget is 6000... pls tell some info about how the climate is there...

Dear Friend

At a budget of 6000, are you driving your car or coming by bus? How it is possible to cover the locations and stay for 6 days? Anyhow...

You may enter into Kerala State by Coimbatore (NH 47) and better to spend a day in Palakkad for one day (not possible to cover all places in palakkad in one day), visit Tippu's Fort, Nelliyampathy (approx 45 kms from city), eve visit Malampuzha Dam & Gardens and leave to Trichur and overnight stay there.

You may visit Trichur Zoo, Museum, Temples (if interested), and then move to Athirappilly (Water Falls) approx 15 km from Chalakkudy (NH 47), and after that move to Ernakulam and overnight stay there.

If you wish to have a music boat trip in eve, you can have at Marine drive, ernakulam. The next day you may able to go to Veega Land (if you like water amusement parks), it is almost near to city limits and the location is Kakkanad, and you may enjoy full day over there. The other locations in Ernakulam are Mattanchery Synagogues, Fort Kochi, Fishing Harbour, etc.

You may enjoy a trip by the Backwaters but the houseboat pricing will be high and it will not come in your budgets. Start from Ernakulam by NH17 and you may able to cover the coastal places of Kerala (Ernakulam, Trichur, Kozhikkode districts) like Kodungallur, Chavakkad, Valappad etc... from Calicut (Kozhikkode) use the hill way to Mysore (via Muthanga, Wayanad and it will be a great route for you and you may enjoy the wild beauty of Kerala, and exit through Mysore->Bangalore.
