Hi guys... want to know how's Darwin for a living...what are the job chances? i have compelated my Master of IT from sydney and thinking to move to NT to get a sponcership, so just want to know about NT (Darwin) and which place is good to live in NT.

Darwin is has just under 120,000 people in it and the whole Northern Territory 215,000 people. Not the largest job market in the country.  Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth all have 1.5mil + people in them each. Even Canberra has a good IT market (Australia's capital so has alot of government work) but you probably couldn't work most of them as they are probably only for nationals with security clearance etc.

Certainly if you want a very 'Australian' place to live Darwin is right up there, it wouldn't be in my top 10 choices though. (And I also work in IT)
