Blade Runner is one of my favourite all time movies.  Watch the theatrical version.  It is a good adaptation of the novella "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K d**k.

If you like films that deal with futurism, check out "The Minority Report" which is an adaptation of the short story of the same name, written by Philip K d**k and directed by Steven Spielberg.

Another adaptation of a novel into film is "A Scanner

Darkly" also by Philip K d**k.

This movie is classic science fiction at it's best. Watch the directors cut which does not have the voice over. Seminal.

It is a classic sci-fi film and probably one of the best movies ever made totally one to check out on bluray.  Avid movie fan.
