firstable sorry for my english because i am Italian...Is it permitted to have a Caracal or a Serval or a Ocelot in Florida (USA)?

  1. The DNR, Department of Natural Resources, is who you contact. They're in the white pages of the phone book, in the government section--for the state section (not the city or county).  You MAY have to also contact your city's City Clerk (they're in the phone book under the government section for the city) and ask if there's restrictions on exotic animals, specifically the one you want to get. That way you can find out if there's local rules that say you can't have one.

    THEN you need to talk to your insurance company, they may not allow you to have it. If you rent or own your home, any insurance company can refuse to cover you if you have something they have restrictions against.
