Hi i'm getting braces in 24 hours i would like to know what to expect and what to eat and what not not to eat?

Oh how exciting! Well you will be uncomfortable for the next few days (in slight pain) but the pain isn't a sharp pain it is really just like an annoying pain that is just there. When I got mine on I ate ice cream, yogurt, applesauce, bread, stuff you don't have to chew on! I wouldn't eat anything hard or chrunchy like chips or pretzels! It was probally 3 weeks before I could eat chips because my teeth were so tender. So good luck
